Esmeralda was a net parody on action movies and games. It was first time public introduced at Ostranenie ’97 in Bauhaus, Dessau, Germany. I later expanded it in a collaborative project Megatronix, which became, because of the article in New York Times the worlds famous project ever sold. For that occasion, I organized a forum with participants from around the world. Theoreticians, curators and artists from around the world participated in an online open negotiations between the artist and the buyer. Shuen-shing Lee wrote an excelent article about it in the book Interactive Points in Literary Hypertexts.
